Hello Sisters,
Below are upcoming events that need to be announced sooner rather than
later given this week's Stake Conference. We are in the process of
updating the email list, so there is a chance there are some who may
not see this. Plese pass info on to your Visiting Teachees and anyone
else you see.
Sept 11 and 12 Stake Conf: Sat 4pm Leadership, 7pm Adult Session,
Sunday 10 am General Session
Sept 12 CES Young Adult Fireside 5pm
Sept 14th Ward Missionary Splits 7pm - looking for 20 people to gather
and venture forth! Pizza provided!! Contact Greg McKoewn
Sept 17th - Ward Temple Trip, 6pm dinner at the Temple Cafeteria, 7pm
session
Sept 25 - Fleet Day(Ferry Boat ala Brimhalls) meet at Church at 9:15
am, be at dock by 10:30, Boat leaves SF 11 am sharp, depart for return
to SF at 2:30, ?'s - Brimhalls 323-4263
Sept 26 - Fasting Testimony
Sept 26 - Sunday taped broadcast of General RS Meeting - 7p.m. Stake
Center - Dessert Potluck to follow, feel free to bring a small
dessert to share if you'd like! There will be plates, napkins, forks
and drinks available.
Sept 30 - MP RS Fall Opening Thurs Nite Meeting - Meet new sisters,
make a pie, serve our friends and family. "Ye shall know them by their
fruits"
Oct 2 and 3 - Gneral Conference
Oct 6- Stanford Convocation - 7:30 Memorial Church - great missionary
opportunity
Sat Oct 30 - Ward Halloween Party - save the evening for Chili Cook
Off, Pie eating, Trick or Treating and other fun!
As follow up to the Missionary Meeting we had for August's 5th Sunday
Combined Meeting - The Ward Missionaries would love to keep the juices
flowing, so to speak. If anyone has a Missionary Moment to share,
please do so. We can either take time to hear it in RS on Sundays, you
can send it out on the Google Group, or you can send it to me and we
can share it in the RS Newsletter or Ward Newsletter. You all are very
inspiring and your efforts will be contagious::).
